Abstract: India and United Arab Emirates have shared a strong trade and cultural links over a period of time. Trade between India and UAE started long back when these two countries traded some of the traditional items with each other. However, India and UAE trade relation took speed when H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan came to power in 1966 and a federation was formed in 1971. The very foundation of INDO-UAE trade tie’s can be traced to the fact that since 1975 INDIA has signed Twenty-FIVE agreement’s and MoU’s with UAE including some of the important agreements like Cultural cooperation agreement(1975), civil aviation agreement(1989, revised in 2014), Double Tax Avoidance agreement DTAA (1992), Anti-Trafficking(1994), Information Cooperation agreements (2000) and the most recent MoU in the field of renewable energy cooperation. These Bi-Lateral agreements and MoU’s have cemented the trade ties between both the countries. Also INDIA and UAE are now inching towards an all weather friendship which would help India to secure it’s interest in the region. And INDIA-UAE friendship would provide a good adhesive for this cohesion. The case study will also talk about the areas where there is a desperate need of improvement and what are the steps taken by the India Government in various fields including the tax policies, balance of payments, modes of payments etc. And how, UAE can prove to be the largest trade partner of India in the next decade.
Keywords: MoU’s, DTAA, Anti-Trafficking, Bi-Lateral Agreements, TAX policies.

Abstract: The paper is motivated by the divergent views in literature pertaining to the direction of causality between savings and economic growth. Using the annual time series data for the period 1980 to 2010 the paper investigates the long-run and causal relationship between savings and economic growth in Lesotho using the ARDL bounds test approach. As per the cointegration results, there exists a long-run relationship between savings and economic growth in Lesotho. Granger causality results, however, indicate that savings precede and drive economic growth in Lesotho, both in the short-run and long-run, and not the other way round. Hence policies aimed at enhancing economic growth in Lesotho should stimulate and spur meaningful savings levels.

Abstract: Asia has been a major contributor to the global GDP. It is a home for many developing nations that have huge demand and are powerhouse of opportunities for the investors, increasing its contribution to global trade Y-o-Y. FDI-inflows data reveals that Asia is attracting more capital inflows than any other continent. It also has two of its nations in Top 10 rankings of Business friendly economies.
India, the 2nd most populous and one of the youngest countries in the world. It has tremendous demand and makes substantial contribution to intra-regional Asian trade. Currently, it ranks very low in Ease of Business Index 2015 due to its policy deadlocks, lack of sufficient infrastructure etc. Still, things are expected to be better with rise in investor and consumer confidence in 2014.
India has come to realize potential untapped opportunities in Asia, which can fulfill its gigantic energy needs for growth in several successive decades. This potential is amplified by the fact that India just happens to be in the “sweet spot” geographically because of its connectivity to other nations in Asia as well as other continents through its peninsular landform. It is a crucial point of trade for pacific region seeking entry in Central Asia, West Asia, Europe and Africa.
To explore the opportunities trapped in Central Asia, it has taken initiatives like coming up with International North-South Transport Corridor for transporting goods and people. But, everything has its own advantages and disadvantages. Just to count one of its disadvantages, it can also cost India with increase in terrorism from Afghan surroundings that are speculated to have military camps.
Considering a well-planned execution of the policies, it is indeed a promising opportunity for India to grab. It will also tighten the geopolitical relations between India and nations of Central Asia. The main objective is to analyze the impact and opportunities of India’s economic stance in Asian economy and trade with special reference to Central Asia and Japan.

Abstract: Employee retention is the key aspect that plays a major role in the success of the hotel industry. As the hotel industry solely depends on their employees, it has high turnover rates and so retaining them has become a major challenge. As there are many hotels in India, even the high performing employees are immediately moving to another job when they feel dissatisfied with the current position. Due to these reasons, this theoretical paper investigates the factors that result in low employee retention. This paper argues about the factors that are critical in influencing the employees to leave their jobs. They are employee misalignment, below average pay, career work-life imbalance, etc. Thus, hotel management should frame appropriate retention strategies to reduce turnover rates with utmost commitment as it will bring a long-term benefit to the organisation.
