Abstract:This study traced graduates in the three programs of the College of Business and Accountancy in the Main Campus of Jose Rizal Memorial State University. The programs whose graduates were surveyed include BS Entrepreneurial Management, BS Accounting Technology and BS Accountancy. Frequency and percentages were used to describe the profile of graduates. The National Economic Development Authority (2015) classifies service sectors in the Philippines into three. These are services that facilitates exchange, services that changes the physical and mental condition of the people and services that change the condition of the good or product. Two of these classifications are employment opportunities of the graduates surveyed. Results showed that 56% worked in services that facilitates exchange where most of the graduates worked in the financial and insurance companies and 44% worked within services that changes the physical and mental condition of people where most worked in administrative and support service sector. Common positions of the graduates were accounting clerk, office staff and secretary and associate. There were also those in the supervisory positions like department head in the academe, accountant and auditor or professional network marketer.

Abstract:Paper Ferro is a highly versatile construction material made by recycling paper have a potentials for application to variety of structure. This product was made from fabric roll paper and newspaper and it is called Sit On Paper (SOP). The purpose of the study is to produce an innovation product by using recycle paper and to create awareness and to identified the marketability of  SOP among Betong, Sarawak Community in Malaysia. This study is conducted in order to receive feedbacks from respondents regarding our new innovative products. There are 100 questionnaire are distributed randomly to selected Betong, Sarawak community using convenience technique. This study is using methodology materials from primary and secondary resources. The result obtain is analyzed using the descriptive analysis through SPSS system version 22.0 (Statistical Package for Social Science). Our hope for this study is Betong Sarawak community can accept our new product and can give an idea to improve SOP.

Abstract:The importance of buy local campaigns in influencing consumer ethnocentrism has increased globally and regionally. Firms nowadays use consumer ethnocentrism as a strategic tool to increase domestic brand equity. However, the success of buy local campaigns in influencing consumer ethnocentrism and domestic brand equity have been mixed with both failures and successes being observed.  Furthermore, many researchers have focused on developing countries in Asia and Europe and there is a dearth in literature on African cases. As a result, the purpose of this paper is to clarify whether the buy local campaign have a relationship with consumer ethnocentrism and domestic brand equity in the fruit industry in Bulawayo-Zimbabwe before further research to establish causation is done. The study data was gathered from 150 consumers in Bulawayo using a structured questionnaire survey. Qualitative data was also gathered through interviews. The data was analysed using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Regression and Correlation Analysis. The empirical findings show that buy local campaigns have a strong positive relationship with consumer ethnocentrism  and domestic brand equity in the fruit trade in Bulawayo- Zimbabwe. Consumer ethnocentrism has a reasonably strong positive relationship on domestic brand equity. The study tests hypotheses in relation to the fruit industry in Zimbabwe and the results could be extrapolated to other industries in Zimbabwe although caution needs to be taken. The results may provide players in the fruit industry on how to position their products for a competitive advantage although causation needs establishment through further research using Structural Equation Modelling.

Abstract:The core purpose of this study is to assess and analyze customer satisfaction with service delivery of mobile telecommunication service within Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The statement problem of this study is mainly rotates on customers are satisfied or dissatisfied with service delivery of ethio-telecom with regarding on mobile telecommunication service. The study is basically a survey those both qualitative and quantitative approaches. A structured questionnaire was developed, pre-test and personally administered to the target population of individual mobile subscribers. In this study, self-administered and structured questionnaire used to collect data from respondents. Since this research is about the study of customer satisfaction with service delivery of ethio-telecom, to describe or portray a reality regarding customer satisfaction with service quality to better understanding those service quality dimensions that customers are satisfied or dissatisfied with, so this has necessitated a descriptive research design has undertaken for a research. This research used convenience sampling technique from non-probability sampling techniques. Totally 300 respondents was selected as a sample. The major limitation is using a large sample and different cities in this survey require financial resources and time, which was not afford. The descriptive statistics: frequencies statistics, mean, standard deviation and one sample t-test has applied to assess the level of customer satisfaction with the relationship between the mobile services attributes and customer satisfaction, and also Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)version 20 has used. Generally, customers are not satisfied with service quality delivered by ethio-telecom in Ethiopia regarding on mobile service or that their satisfaction is considered too low, but customer satisfaction is better than expected and at least equal to expectation on some service quality dimension items.

Abstract:Post-partum haemorrhage is a one among leading causes of maternal mortality globally. Lack of manpower and appropriate equipment makes this problem incomparably high in poorer African settings than developed countries. Training, planning and effectively utilization of the few available equipment and personnel would make a difference in most African settings including Zanzibar. Studies in this area would inform the gape in knowledge equipment and manpower deficit in which if settled PPH and maternal mortality will be reduced. 
Aim: This study aimed atexploring the knowledge and practice of nurse midwives on prevention and management of post- partum haemorrhage at Mnazi Mmoja Hospital, Zanzibar
Setting: Mnazi mmjoa Hospital in Zanzibar Urban/West.
Methods: A descriptive cross sectional qualitative study design was conducted in which face to face interview was conducted with each nurse (n=15) at obstetric department/section on issues pertaining to PPH. English interview guide was used during the discussion and the voice recorder was used to record the conversations. Meanwhile the researcher noted down important points and events as the discussion proceeded. After each interview key points were summarized in the presence of interviewee for confirmation and further elaboration where necessary. All recorded interviews were transcribed and translated per verbatim. The translated transcripts were coded by using different colors in Microsoft Word computer program.Codes were assembled in small meaning units and these units were later gathered (depending on their relationship to each other) to create categories which are the results for this study.
Results: The pre-determined theme for this study was the status quo of PPH at Mnazi Mmoja Hospital. Under this theme five categories were formed, the five theme are; PPH as a serious situation, Causes and risk for PPH, assessment and management of PPH, preparedness as prevention of PPH and areas of inconsistence.
Conclusion: There substantially good knowledge among midwives concerning risk factors, prevention, and monitoring a PPH event. However there are insufficient staff (to form a team) and necessary equipment to handle an event of PPH.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper was to examine the effect of whether independent directors matter in times of financial distress. The research design used in this study was exploratory design. The study employed panel regression analysis and simultaneously used pooled regression and random effects on sample size of 39 listed firms in Kenya during the period of 2004-2013. The study established that board independence is negatively and significantly related with financial distress β=-0.044; p<0.05). This study adds value to theory by empirically analyzing the effect of independent directors on financial distress.  This study fills a significant gap in academia by providing insights into the effect of independent directors in times of financial distress by focusing an emerging economy. This study supplements similar studies focusing in China and Middle East. In addition given the increasing collapsing of companies in emerging economies, this paper provides policy makers with evidence on the implications of board independence for financial sustainability.

Abstract:Garment manufacturing process involves converting the raw materials into the desired garment. The raw materials either fabric or leather comes with various flaws which needs to be tackled before the garment is processed. defects in woven fabrics includes holes, slubs, knots, stains, straeaks, etc. on the other way leather, which is a processed skin comes with various defects such as bone mark, scars, wound marks, wrinkles etc. pre-production process which includes fabric inspection, marker planning, cutting etc is a very important process which requires atmost care for quality garment output. The main focus of the study is to know the types of woven defects and leather defects, and the methods of handling them in the cutting section. Woven defects are man-made defects which are caused mainly during the weaving process; whereas leather defects are naturally occuring defects which may be due to fungal attack infections, scratches, infestations etc. on animals like sheep, cows, pig etc, whose skin is the base for leather garment manufacturing. Our main idea is to make a comparison between the woven and leather defects and the way to encounter the same during the garment manufacturing process.

Abstract:Retailing pertains to the sale of goods or merchandise to final consumers or end users. Fashion involves market research, brand licensing, intellectual property rights, design materials, engineering products, manufacturing, marketing & finally distribution. Visual merchandising refers to art of showcasing or presenting the same goods or merchandise in the right perspective which includes 4 ‘Es’ of experience Entertainment, Educational, Escapist, Esthetic experience, thus virtual innovations are the beginning of a whole new chapter in retail & visual merchandising promising enriched, engaging & meaningful retail experience of the foreseeable future.

Abstract:It is evident that in most government departments in Kenya, there has been a public outcry at least more than once about poor service delivery. The sector is complaints of unavailability of resources and adoption of ineffective resource allocation strategies. In the advent of devolution, the situation is reportedly worse in most counties and such include Kericho County. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of resource allocation and availability on devolution of public sector services in Kericho County. The theories include economic and market based theory and devolution theories. The study was carried out among 391 county staff and 15 elected members of the County Assembly. Stratified random sampling was employed to select 84 respondents from the categories of sub-counties. Data was collected by use of questionnaires. The study found that resource allocation and availability is a significant predictor of performance of the County Government of Kericho in the devolution of public sector services.  The study concludes that resource availability and resource allocation are significant predictors of performance of the County Government of Kericho in the devolution of public sector services. However, the County government has not taken these important aspects seriously are required. resource allocation strategies employed are not appropriate. The most disturbing finding is that that resources were not always available when required. Following this the study recommended that: The County Government of Kericho should consider conducting research to inform the process of development or adoption of resource allocation strategies; and ensure all relevant stakeholders are consulted or involved at the resource planning stage. This will help boost the efficiency of resources in enhancing performance in the public sector. There is also need to mobilise resources to ensure resource availability on timely basis and ensure that quality resources are available.
